Job: Senior Marketing Specialist

Job Summary:
The Senior Marketing Specialist is a key role in the marketing department responsible for launching and overseeing end-to-end campaigns, print projects, social media strategy, event marketing, content production and working with paid and owned media channels. This is a hands-on position which requires the ability to wear a dozen hats at once. This position will be responsible to work cross functionally with departments, facilitate timely updates, oversees key agencies, design initiatives and provides reporting and analytics for campaigns.

This position will require experience in marketing with a proven track record of contributing within a deadline driven environment. The position entails a strong understanding and prior experience in marketing including the creative process, marketing campaigns, and data analytics. This person will be responsible for working with agency partners and internal stakeholders to drive launch of programs, while overseeing day-to-day happenings. This position manages marketing strategies from end to end and develops them as well.

Essentials Functions:

  • Develop and manage schedules and resources for all go to market campaigns
  • Oversee and Supervise campaign initiatives at all touchpoints
  • Supervise agency initiatives for social media KPIs, Video Production and Special Projects
  • Manage 3rd party vendors for all print production including RFPs
  • Project manage marketing campaigns from inception to completion
  • Implement marketing and promotional strategies across multiple channels including social, digital, email, etc.
  • Liaise between creative, internal departments and agency partners
  • Routing and review of all marketing materials with key stakeholders
  • Build and manage monthly social media content calendars while working with partners to produce and launch content across all channels
  • Manage micro campaigns to ensure KPIs, budgets and reporting are met
  • Oversee Development, growth, creative and deployment of email marketing
  • Work with Influencer marketing for content development, launch of content on owned channels and product barter deals
  • Work with production team to develop video content for brand marketing, content and special projects
  • Oversee all POP and work with store managers for any needs – development to installation
  • Work with Marketing Team on Grand Openings and Special Events
  • Stakeholder in website promotional content to ensure schedules are met
  • Manage asset database for image pulling for all medias
  • Prepare promotional details for store updates
  • Traffic creative to vendors for all types of media/Create UTM codes
  • Create spec sheets for vendor partners
  • Assist with paid social campaigns
  • Assist with campaign reporting in Google Data Studio
  • Admin and other duties as assigned

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Requires walking, standing, sitting, twisting, bending, typing, and occasional repetitive movement.
  • Requires using hand tools
  • Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. Occasionally will go outdoors.

Work Schedules:

  • Available to work full-time schedule and weekends when required
  • Ability to support core hours.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS required.
  • 2-4 years relevant marketing experience in retail, specifically within digital and social media
  • Online advertising, direct mail and email marketing is preferred.
  • Understanding of digital, social and email marketing
  • Strong interpersonal skills required for communication with management, other departments, agencies, designers, and colleagues.
  • Google Apps (Data Studio, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Analytics)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be proficient with excel, and PowerPoint
  • Presentation Skills
  • Copywriting/editing skills helpful; organizational skills and ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to thrive in a supportive but autonomous role

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a small team environment with changing tasks and deadlines
  • Fluent in Microsoft office – specifically excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven problem-solver
  • Basecamp is a plus
  • Facebook ads manager a plus
  • Basic Photoshop skills plus

Preferred:

  • Bi-lingual Spanish/Tagalog/Vietnamese/Chinese/Korean preferred

More about ESOP

The value of the ESOP is dependent on the success and profitability of the company, so the value of ESOP shares can fluctuate over time. Generally, a 7% growth is average, but if the company does especially well, there can be incredible share value increases year to year. Over time, ESOP allocations can add up to large numbers. Plus, unlike a 401(k), employees do not contribute any of their own money towards their ESOP, so anything they receive is extra and at no cost to them.
